The Sunburst Bamboo

Bambusa eutuldoises ‘Viridi-Vitata’

This clumping variety produces beautiful yellow canes with green striping. The canes are similar in appearance to the Hawaiian-Striped bamboo, but its form is much more erect. The canes shoot straight up with lateral branching shooting out at a 90 degree angle. The side branches can be limbed up to expose the canes or left in place for a full plant from top to bottom.

This bamboo can grow up to 40′ with 2-3″ diameter canes and is hardy to 21°F.
